About the Author
Attorney Bill Ogletree is a fourth generation Houstonian who graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1969 and from law school at the University of Houston with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1976. He was licensed to practice law in June 1977. He has served as an assistant district attorney in Jefferson County, Texas as Head of the Special Crimes Division. He is licensed to practice by the Texas Supreme Court in all areas of Law, licensed to practice in the Eastern and Southern Federal District Courts of Texas and licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Trial Lawyers and the American Bar Association. He has served on the State Bar of Texas Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee and the Advertising Review Committee.
